    Amaretto Coffee - clean, crisp smooth almond cordial taste with a lively aroma.


    Amaretto is a sweet liqueur originally from Italy. It's made from a base of apricots or almond pits, or sometimes both.


    This coffee makes a superb after-dinner drink. I can just see it now - men in their smoking jackets, women with their knitting needles - oops, wrong century.......but you get the picture.

    Actually, the importation of amaretto liqueur to the United States did not occur until the 1960's. The original recipe has said to have been handed down from generation to generation without change and is still made today.
